A night in memory of Simone de Beauvoir

Our French delegation was at the Femmes Monde à la Coupole last night commemorating the struggle and efforts of Simone de Beauvoir.   Claudine Monteil, her student and close friend shared memories of Simone de Beauvoir. She has written books on her life and the challenges she faced to realize more rights for women in France.   The program was at la Coupoule, where Simone de Beauvoir had lunch every day.
